This mild white cheese originated from Oaxaca, Mexico. It is similar to domestic string cheese, but Oaxaca is braided in to a ball. Its texture and flavor are very similar to mozzarella and it can be used the same in recipes. It is also snacking cheese. Queso Campesino offer both Domestic and Imported Oaxaca.
